So I have not blogged in over a week and if anyone wonders why, it is because school has consumed my life. Finals are always bad but when its in the spring semester, they get worse. Everyone is getting ready to graduate (not me of course) and so the hype is heightened and makes me not want to do anything.
Last night I spent the stormy night in the library until 3am putting some finishing touches on an important paper for one of my classes. I tried to stay as long as possible in hopes that the storm would pass over before I left and I could go home and catch a few hours of sleep. NO SUCH LUCK. By the time I got home, it hadn't even reached Milly yet. My anxiety for storms is terrible. I hate them and I would rather do almost anything than have to sit through one. I tuned into the Ben Jones and he kept me updated. Needless to say I stayed up and slept for one hour.
Today I will go into a state of deep sleep at 2:00pm. I would appreciate that no one attempt to reach me because I will not be alert. Whats going to suck more than storms is if I bomb this big presentation and the paper I worked on so diligently until the wee hours of the morning. Surprisingly, there are way more people in the library at those hours than I had expected. Its nice to know I am not the only one who has a million things crammed into a week.
Everyone say a prayer for me today! I plan on being back on my blog game within the next few days! Happy Thursday! :)

My favorite time of the year!
So everyday my obsession with baseball gets taken to a whole different level. Seriously, if I knew enough about it to write everyday, I think I would make my blog all about baseball but then no one would read it. Such a shame! Last night the braves played in LA and since the game was at 10:10pm, I was unable to watch the entire game. (I am kinda trapped in this body that deceives everyone. I look 22 but I feel 82. I cannot stay up late to save my life) So I woke up this morning and checked the score. Much to my surprise and every other braves fans also, THEY WON. I don't think they have won a game in probably close to two weeks. Yes, I am fully aware of the fact that they play a lot of games in the season, but who doesn't want their favorite team to win almost every game, if not all?! I DO! They beat the Dodgers 10-1 and scored an obscene amount of runs toward the end of the game. Finally!
Also, my nephew had his first game of the season last night and unfortunately the lost by one run. He played amazing at catcher and dominated like a champion as always. (Maybe I am a tad bit biased :)) I am hopeful that one day he will also play for the Braves and at what position?! CATCHER. I mean someone is going to need to take over for my husband when he gets too old to play. Might as well be my nephew!
I know that not everyone is as excited about baseball as me, so I promise to only post the best stuff about it every now and then. Until next time, GO BRAVES!

10 Things you didn't know about me
So I was looking at blog ideas yesterday and I came across this idea of listing things people wouldn't necessarily know about you. I think its a cute idea and allows people to learn something new about you. So try it on your own blogs!
1. I have some gray hair that I completely embrace. Sometimes I think about dying it, but then I think it gives me a little bit of wisdom (or so people might think) so I just leave it!
2. I have a mild obsession with shoes. I am verging on the 50 pair mark and I am ok with it. No shoe is discriminated against when it comes to me. I love them all!
3. Both my parents passed away from cancer. While I see it as a hard time in my life even still, I think it makes me appreciate relationships more and therefore something good did come out of it even if it was just a small thing such as that.
4. One of the things I want to do most before I am too old is take a road trip across the US. I wanna stop in all the cool places like the Grand Canyon, Vegas, Hoover Dam etc. I just wanna grab a friend or two and drive for weeks and weeks and be completely lost in the fact that we have no time limit or schedule to be anywhere.
5. I love baseball. I know this might not come as a shock to many of you, but I just like to reiterate the fact that it is my new found hobby that I love. I never thought I would be as into as I am but I do love it more than the average person. My nephews teams they play on are my number ones but the Braves definitely take the second place spot obviously.
6. I have a hard time trusting people. I can count on one hand the number of people I would trust with my life. Actually, you should all probably feel thankful that I do not trust you with my life! That is a big responsibility, so you're welcome.
7. My guilty pleasure is reality TV. I love it all. I think it may be more of an addiction now, but I think at one time it was a harmless guilty pleasure. HEY, there are worse things to be addicted to people!
8. I don't think there has ever been a day when I didn't watch the news. I know I may not seem like I am informed and up-to-date on the latest haps in the world, but I am or try to be as much as possible at least.
9. I love to watch, read or learn about anything that has to do with prison, jails or just criminal justice in general. I recently found out how much I love it and so I plan to go to grad school as soon as I graduate and get my masters in criminal justice. Just a warning for the future: watch out!
10. And so the redneck is about to come out...I love a good truck. I think trucks are the one thing that can make an ok looking man the finest thing I have ever seen! I mean sure there is a fine line between the two, but hey if he can afford that big, nice truck then he must be as high maintenance as me which means we would probably get along just fine!

Ok people, I am still getting used to this whole blog atmosphere. So for my first real post I was unsure what exactly I would talk about and how I could make it interesting. Well, lucky for me my day began with much excitement.
If any of you actually know me, you also know that my tolerance for tardiness is very low. I think being on time is one of the most important things a person can have going for them. The joke is on me today! I am supposed to be at work and ready to go at 9:45 a.m. Well today, I woke up at 9:29 a.m. I had to do a double take because there is no way this could be right. Unfortunately it was and I got to work an hour late. Oh the irony! :) I am also talking about this and how its so important. Lesson learned! I will no longer complain about others being late because obviously I am not immune to it either! So for any of you I have given a hard time, here is my apology. I am sorry!!!!! I can only laugh at what I think will be the first of many other encounters with lateness in my life. Maybe tomorrow something else will happen and I can write about it.
Oh and by the way! I am still looking at cute things I want to post about in the future. I am learning! :)

Ok ok ok!!!! So after much debating about whether or not to start a blog, I have finally caved into the peer pressure! I am pretty excited about this whole blog experience. Recently I've found out that I'm a tad bit obsessed with other peoples blogs and so the obviously solution would be to start my own! I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to write about or if people are even going to read this but I hope so! I'm definitely "that girl" who is loud and outspoke. I would say I have a big heart and try to help people as much as possible! I don't know what other people would say about me but hey, ya can't please them all! If there's one thing I do know, its that I have crazy ambitions and and great determination to reach them all! Don't judge me or laugh when you read this because I definitely need a crash course in blogging layouts but I promise to make it cute asap! Feel free to leave tip about blogging on here for me!More blogs to come...!!
Later peeps!
