Fabulous Valentine Challenge-Best Date Ever

So I know I already had a post for today, but I got to thinking and reading other people's posts and I decided to do this new link-up that is just in time for Valentine's Day! Morgan has assured me that this link-up is NOT all about relationship stuff.

I was just cleaning out the fridge and thinking about stuff that is happening this week (cleaning is what I do to relieve any stress I may have) and I decided to participate and stop being all sad! It's a BEAUTIFUL day here and I have many things to be thankful for!

Anyway, Neely is co-hosting this link-up and I am going to jump right in! I may not participate in it everyday, but today I think I have something that is very fitting!




Today's Topic- Best Date Ever. I'm sure my title didn't give it away one bit right?!

So, I love country music. Like a lot and in a way that may or may not be healthy. I love it all and I can sing any song word for word if you give me at least a week to listen and learn it from hearing it on the radio at work. Even songs that I don't like at first usually end up growing on me and I like them.

Mystery boy, who I shall be revealing in just a moment, has taken me to two concerts. Rascal Flatts being my first concert ever and probably one experience that will never be topped. He surprised me with tickets for my birthday and I loved it. They are my favorite band ever. Seriously.

But, my favorite date would probably be the time he took me to a Brad Paisley concert for Valentine's day one year. It wasn't a huge surprise because I had hinted about wanting to go and then he couldn't keep a secret so he told me. Either way, it was the thought that counted right?!

 Yep, Brad was definitely the best date ever. Haha, I'm kidding...but doesn't he just look amazing up there doing his thang?

 I think he loves me. I'm not exactly sure. We look extremely young here! It's so crazy! This is one of my favorite pictures even though he is acting dumb. Nothing new there! 

What would this post be like if I didn't show you our TRUE selves? This is usually us. We are rarely ever serious except when its necessary! 

While I could sit here and list a million dates we had that were great, this one is pretty memorable!  We had a great time, snuck down in the middle of the concert to sit in better seats, ate the greasiest french fries you've ever seen, and enjoyed each other! 

I'm definitely gonna miss this crazy boy. 

He never reads my blog unless I post it to facebook, which I don't hardly do anymore, so he will likely never see this, but if he does he is going to hate me for posting this pictures! But at least I showed you one not so flattering one of myself to counter act it right?

So, as the days are getting closer until mystery boy leaves the state for his new job/life, I'm having a hard time focusing on much at all. I'm back to my emotional self for now and I think its totally normal, right?

If it's not, can you just pretend like it is? Hehe!

He will be moving later this week and I am kinda in denial right now. Like, I don't know why I'm calm sometimes and not so calm others. 

Anyways, as I have nothing interesting to post about today, I'm just going to wing it and I hope that you find some truth and inspiration behind these quotes if you need it too!

Ok, so here's the deal! I have been missing since Friday and I need to apologize because I know just how much you all love me and love reading nonsense about my life! 

I kid, I kid!

Anyway, I would like to say that I have been so busy that I have had ZERO time to blog, but that would be a lie and I don't want my nose to grow 12+ inches. It might already be a little on the big side...

Friday night I reunited with one of my friends and her hubby. We have such a strange dynamic that I can't even explain it so I won't even try. We went and saw a band play and just had all kinds of fun shaking our tails...not that you wanted to know that! 

It's always nice to see her and since school started we have been separated and we both dislike it a whole lot. Apparently, we're best friends because she informed me that she wrote about me when they had a Spanish assignment to write about their best friend! Nevermind that it may have contained short sentences about how I have brown hair and that I wear pants...it was still about me and it is flattering! 

Spanish is not our language, so anything she wrote was flattering to me!

Saturday I had basketball games ALL day for my nephews. First, let me just say that we are NOT basketball players. We do baseball and football and I think we do it pretty well. (By 'we' I mean my nephews!) 

Basketball is a newer thing for us so my sister and I often sometimes sit there and have no idea what the heck is going on. Ok, most of the time that's what you can find us doing. Or gossiping about people because its usually the only time we have to sit down and talk for a long period of time.

Both of my nephews lost their games and it was ok because we all know you win some and you lose some. They games were both right in the middle of the day so it pretty much sucked any productivity out of my day that I had planned. I try to never miss a game of theirs if I don't have to and I plan on keeping it that way, so no matter what time, if I can go I'm most definitely there!

Then I had a meeting at work. 

As you can see, my weekend has been the funniest and most envied weekend ever by people everywhere. Not. 

I hope that you all have had a relaxing and productive weekend. If not, then I hope you enjoyed it anyway! I must get back to watching Snapped and playing Temple Run...which BTdubs...has anyone played that game on your iphone?? Well lemme tell you, DON'T do it. Once you sit down and play you won't be able to stop! 

Trust me. Its addicting! I'm thinking of shopping to break this new bad habit. That's horrible idea, I know, but I need to quit playing it!

Confessional Friday

How excited are you that it's Friday!? I am super pumped because I have been getting Monday's off as well due to conflicting college schedules at work, so I have been getting 3-day weekends quite often. I have to tell ya, I don't mind it at all! 

I generally spoil myself on the weekends by staying up late and then I can't fall asleep at a decent hour when it's back to the real world on Monday night then Tuesday I am tired! You would think I would learn by now, but no such luck!

So, since it's Friday and all, what better way to celebrate with a little confessional!?

After all, the truth WILL set you free! Durrhhh.

I shaved my legs last night. No, I didn't have a hot date or anything of that nature. I just washed my sheets and that always calls for freshly shaven legs that night. If you have never put your hairless legs into a bed with clean linens, then you are missing out, sista! Am I the only one who agrees/does this?

I put myself on spending restriction officially. I have got to save a little moolah because as of right now, I am planning to go down to Orlando to visit mystery boy for Spring Break. He won't be home during the day because he will have just started a month prior, but I think I can manage to find something to do while he is working at the glorious mall they have there! No unnecessary spending until then. Unless I get sad and need a pick-me-up mani or something!

I skipped Jersey Shore last night. I had to catch up on my Real Housewives of Bev Hills, so I decided to just catch the re-run next week before the new one comes on. Don't anyone tell me if Vinny came back or not. I don't wanna know until I see it!

I did all the laundry in the house yesterday and realized that I have too many clothes. What, you never heard such a thing? Well lemme tell you, I can barely squeeze anything into that thing, so I think it's fine time to go through and donate some stuff to Goodwill, as much as it will hurt me..

I want to buy every cute iphone cover that I see now. I thought I would be more obsessed with my phone than accessorizing it. WRONG. 

I heard a crying child last night at the mall (I didn't purchase a single thing while there) and I wanted to strangle it and its mother who was just pretending everything was peachy! I felt bad afterwards then decided that I didn't. 

Shut that thing up lady! 

I got a little too excited last night when I logged onto blogger and saw that I had 2 new followers! eeeeek!!! Best feeling ever! New followers and comments make me super happy and excited! (*Hint*)

My friend Lori is co-hosting a new link up starting today! In keeping with the spirit of new years resolutions, her a a few others have came up with idea to show your progress. It doesn't have to be a certain type of thing like weight loss etc, just anything that you have done and stuck with that was a resolution!

It's Ok...

How excited are you that tomorrow is Friday and it's the weekend?! I know I am! I have the weekend off and I am going to do a whole lotta nothing...ok that's not true, I have to do a ton of homework and studying! But other than that..nothing!

That my dark circles are bothering me so bad right now. I always have issues with them, but lately more so! Ladies, help! Do you have any tips on how to make them less noticeable?

That I am able to eat a whole jar of pickles in about a week at this moment in time. Snooki and I have at least one thing in common...

That I am excited to send my package to my blog swap partner next week! I hope she loves it all as much as I do. Good thing we don't have the same name or first initial because the chances of me keeping it would be high!

That I am mildly obsessed with my new iphone and have my eye on a MONOGRAMMED case to be in my possession in the very near future!

That I have been retweeting way more things than I probably should. I swear that Will Ferrell and I have the same personality and I can't help but retweet it. 

That I have been disconnected from the news for a while now. I used to watch it everyday without fail, but lately I have just felt uninterested in it. Too many bad things being reported. 

That my pinterest boards are becoming filled with multiple things because I can't remember things I have pinned before..

That just seeing the Hoarders commercials makes me anxious and get I get the urge to clean a lot and immediately!

That mystery boy is leaving in about a week and I am surprisingly calm about not sad right now. Check back in about a week and see what a wreck I am! I am so lucky to have great friends there for me though. {Suuuriously}, y'all are awesome!

That I was standing on flat, level ground earlier and I almost just tipped right over and fell. There was no earthquake, no one pushed me and it was not happy hour. I just can't stand up or walk to save my life. I am super clumsy!

That I am loving Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" song right now. I cannot get enough. I don't know why, but its always in my head!

I work in a monogram gift shop, duh! I can answer all your monogramming questions because I am pretty much a pro. Yep, conceited.

This might just be one of my favorites of all time. I love the monogram and I never thought of this. White is the best choice obvs, but this is so delicate and dainty. Love, love, love it! Cameo would by my choice of font. Look up it people! It's best one. Have it on everything I own that is monogrammed!
