It's OK Thursday...

It's Ok if....

In the process of buying last minute Christmas gifts for my family, I also purchased a few things for myself. (ie. a new scarf that matches my sisters, a Columbia jacket and maybe a new sweater.)

I watch reality TV entirely too much

I asked for a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. Let's be real though, not just ANY vacuum. A shark steam cleaner.

I have had at least 3 posts that I have discussed said Shark steam cleaner

Not being in school makes me possibly the laziest human being known to man.

I am  23 years old and in bed by 10pm on any given night depending on what happens to be on TV that evening.

I am obsessed with Tim Tebow so much that I read his book in 2 days and cannot wait til he writes another.

I have a twitter and use it religiously lately because I am jealous that all my friends have thousands of tweets and I have 29.

If I tried all day to post a new link up that I was SOO excited about and my stupid computer wouldn't post it after at least 3 times of trying. Sorry followers,I am a failure..

Life of a Loser

Are you all excited that tomorrow is Wednesday? Half the week is over...yippee!!

I was supposed to work this afternoon but with the after-Christmas shopping not being something people tend to do alot, I got sent home. Don't get me wrong, I love my job but getting sent home was wonderful because it I got to get an extra day off! 

I also got to break open that shark steam cleaner that has been staring at me in the box since Sunday. It's been teasing me and trying to get me to open it and start cleaning, but I have resisted...until today. 

Worst.mistake.ever

I'm addicted to cleaning as it is, but this takes it to a whole new level! I am pumped and may just steam clean the floors for New years instead of being a social human being. 

Nothing much going on in my life and I know I have been promising great posts all week and I promise tomorrow they will begin! I have a link up that I am starting tomorrow and I would love to post today, but its a 'Wednesday' thing so I would just look like an idiot if I posted it on Tuesday.

What's new in your life today? Anything has to be better than mine... my new best friend is a vacuum cleaner. Someone please ask me to hang out soon...

Just kidding, don't worry about me. Tomorrow I am having lunch with one of my favorites and I cannot wait! We are going to a local chinese place that is TO DIE FOR. Seriously. 

I haven't seen her in a few weeks which is not normal because we were pretty together or talking all the time for a good while, but we have both been so busy. I am excited to catch up with her and eat some good food that I don't need to be eating.. 

Look out for tomorrow's post...I am pretty excited! Then I have a special New Years post that I am even more excited to share with you all!

Randomness..

Happy Monday to all my lovely readers and followers! I hope that no one had to go back to work today like me! I think it should be against the law to make people work the day after certain holidays, for example Christmas. I mean seriously, it will take me all week to recover from the fun that was had around my house yesterday so I certainly was hating my life about 8:15 this morning when that dreaded alarm went off. 

I am a poor, lowly college student and I work in retail. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, the customers, and my coworkers, but home girl was not excited about today. We had a sale so it was, of course, busy and all I could think to myself was "how in the world do people still have money/energy THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS?" 

I was so ready to be home. The day seemed to drag on and I found myself getting slightly annoyed more than  once twice five, eh, lets just say I was annoyed more than normal. 

I was jealous that most people, including those in the store, had an extra day to hang out with family or waste the day away shopping. Maybe I wanted to do those things. Or maybe I wanted to lay in bed and check out new blogs all day....don't judge me. 

Anywhooo, I went to work. Long day is done. Tomorrow is coming too fast.

And I had to make the dreaded trip to the grocery store afterwards. Let's all be honest for a moment. We hate the grocery store. Most of us would rather take a sharp object and stab our arms repeatedly for at least an hour than go grocery shopping....ok well maybe that's just me,but I did it and everyone should be proud! 

Ok, enough rambling and complaining about my horrible day. I woke up, so I guess my day wasn't sooooo bad. 

This meaningless post is going to be followed by some really cool ones that I am excited to share with you this week, including some new link ups and some creative stuff by yours truly. 

Until then, I think I will retire to my bed with my new kindle and read myself into a coma until tomorrow. I hope everyone enjoyed your day whether you worked or spent it with family or spent it sleeping all day and not showering!

New Look

I know I already posted earlier today, but I have been working a giving my blog a make over and I want your input! I want it to really reflect my style and who I am as a person. 

If I could describe myself and my personality, I would say that I am free-spirited, modern hippie and a little wild! 

I wanted my blog to have those three things in common! I hope you all like the new and improved look. I would love to know what you think and please feel free to leave comments, concerns, and tips that will help me make it better!

Merry Christmas Bloggers!

Obviously, by now you all know that it is Christmas day and are probably spending the afternoon with your close family and friends. I have been doing the same thing, but took a small break to blog and see what everyone else is doing! 

Unfortunately, here in good 'ole Georgia, or my part anyways, it is raining and has been all day. It kinda sucks because the kids can't go outside as they would like and play, but it forces us to stay inside and spend quality time with our families!

In addition to wishing ya'll a happy holiday, I wanted to take time to post about my day and share all my goodies with you!

I wrote my list a few weeks ago and if you need a refresher you can read it.....

On my Christmas list, I had some things that I wanted, but if I didn't get them it would not be the end of the world. 

Luckily for me, I have an amazing family and they continue to surprise me.

I have been wanting a kindle for a long time now. I love to read and lately haven't been able to do much of it. 

I had mentioned that I wanted one.

I got not one, but TWO! I got two kindles. They were different kinds but both equally great.I have been playing all day and I am in love..literally!

I got lots of clothes and some makeup and home decor which I obviously love! A girl can never have TOO much of any of those things!

Now...for the motherload....I GOT A SHARK STEAM CLEANER! I have an obsession with cleaning and I have had my eye on this thing for longer than just a few weeks...or months...

I finally got one so if anyone would like to come over and see how clean my floors will be by mid-week, feel free! 

What did you guys get? I cannot wait to read about it!

Christmas Wish List

Happy Happy Saturday! Good news...you made it through the week and now have some time to do things you ACTUALLY want to do!

What would my blog be if I didn't copy my good friend Lori's blog ideas from time-to-time? It would be super boring on this girl's page...trust me. So again, I stole this one and I think it is appropriate because hello....Christmas is soon.

For those of you who didn't just pass out or die of a heart attack because you forgot how Christmas was like 2.5 weeks away, here is my wish list...feel free to email me and I will surely send you my address if you would like to buy this poor college girl any or all of these gifts. Enjoy loviesss.

1. An iphone. White, please! 

 

 2. A monogrammed iphone case. Because what kind of a person would I be without a monogrammed phone case? One whose not in style..thats who!

 

3. A shark steam cleaner. Hello my name is Ashley and I love to clean. This would literally make my whole day and I might even cry.Yep, I am a loser who will probably never get married...aware!

 

4. Toms. Any color or pattern will do. I think I could start collecting them. I mean that IS appropriate because for every pair they sell, a child is given a pair. I could totally justify this addiction. GET OFF ME!

 

5. Monogrammed necklace...hello I work in a MONOGRAM shop. I have to support my employer. Duh. These are so cute and classic and would be perfect for anyone really...or me.

 6. Amazon Kindle. I love to read alot, but I hardly have time for it so this would make it easier. And they are pretty cheap nowadays.

Ok, so here is just some of my list/favorite things I am loving this Christmas. I have already completed my shopping so its kinda time for me to be selfish and think about what I would like.
