It's OK..

Howdy. I am trying to finish all my school work so that I can graduate, but I feel so neglectful lately that I had to make time to do a little postie post!

First, I desperately miss reading all your blogs and I have tried to read and comment whenever I have had a free moment. If I haven't left any love for you, don't hate me! I promise to catch up once this school thing is over. Just know that I really do miss all my blog besties!

Second, I would like to report that I am in fact still alive and well. No need to send out search parties to to find me below the mason-dixon line, y'all. SO please, call them and tell them that the mission can be aborted immediately...unless the party includes a cute, single man who is looking for someone to wife up, in which case please tell them to hurry up and get here already. ;)

Anyways, I'm linking up with Neely for some It's OK Thursday!

It's OK...

that I have been trying to soak up every last minute of college before its over

that I will be done with college on May 1 and graduate on May 5 giving me a few days to relax and reflect...and do a little partying to celebrate

that I realize I have a shopping problem. How you ask? Oh that's is...when I was hanging up clothes yesterday and MY WHOLE closet rack crashed to the floor. Eh, I needed some more shelves anyways..

that I finally broke down and got an otterbox and since then I have dropped my phone at least 5 times. Crazy how things happen at the right times huh?

that I have neglected you all for far too long.

that I a whole weekend planned to do nothing but watch baseball and party in ATL with my besties before my real life starts as an adult. One last hoorah!

that I haven't really had any luck with jobs thus far.

that I look like a dork in my cap and gown. Do we have to wear those hats?

What are you ok with today?!

Also, my sweet blogger equal/friend , Jordan, is doing this amazing giveaway over at her blog. If you haven't heard of Swell Caroline, I think you may live under a rock. Just kidding. Anyways, its a super cute little line of accessories that I just love. She is doing a little giveaway. So, 1. go follow her blog because she's so cute, 2. enter her giveaway, and 3. go check out the website. all of their stuff is really inexpensive and totally adorable!!

DO IT!!

Have a great rest of the week lovies and I will be back in this blog world before you know it!

22 days, but whose counting?

I have been extremely neglectful to my blog and my lovely followers this week. I am working on the biggest paper of my life and trying to finish it so I can graduate college and not be a big huge loser!

I promise that once this is over, I will be back in full swing, reading your blogs and writing my own posts!
In the mean time, don't give up on my just yet! I will be back next week but hopefully before

until then, keep the positivity coming my way and send food and water every few hours. I long to be able to eat a real meal at a real table when all this is over. I think my bed is tired of me.

I hope you all are having a great week and that your weekend is relaxing and restful!!

LOVE!

Oh, How Pinteresting...

Wednesday. You know the deal. Here it is!!

Oh, how pinteresting: 'I shoulda thought of that' edition

Yep, I need/want this. How practical for going out with friends a sporting event etc?

Glue a  bottle to the bottom of a rock. Place your spare key for your house in the bottle and bury it so that just the rock is showing. Clever.

Scoop out the inside of the watermelon and replace it with a fruity watermelon drink and put in the spout thing. Fun and cute for summer parties!

via

Rub a dryer sheet along your baseboards in your house to keep dust from accumulating. If you are a clean freak like me, this is definitely a great tip!

 via

How annoyed do you get when your shirts and tanks fall off the hangers in your closet? Yep. Well just take a hot glue gun and make a wavy pattern on the top of the hanger and let it dry. Add your tops and they will stay put!

Use a lemon to prevent the hard water stains on your kitchen and bathroom faucets!

How cool are all these ideas? I seriously feel like they are so simple and easy for anyone to do and helpful to know!

You got any good tips for me?
Hope you all have a great hump day!!

miscellaney monday

It's Monday. I have a bad case of the Monday's y'all! It's no good. Linking up with carissa at lowercase letters for a little miscellany monday!

one
I can't shake the senioritis bug. He bit me back at the beginning of the semester and I am still having issue. Only one month left. It's exciting and sad all at the same time!

two
I may have gotten intoxicated on a Sunday night. I never do anything fun so last night I was with some friends and may have had a little too much fun. Needless to say, work kinda sucked at the beginning of the day. Thank goodness for tylenol and gatorade.

three
Lately, I have found myself plucking my eyebrows every other day ish. I really hate doing it so recently I discovered that if you maintain them, then you won't have to pluck them for hours at the time. Who woulda thought right?!

four
I'm still peeling from the beach last weekend. Seriously? I have to go to class tomorrow looking like a snake or half tan half peeled and white. Awkward!

five
I can't stop listening to Luke Bryan's song called "Drunk on You" I think it has been on repeat in my car since Thursday. Such a good song and I don't know why  I like it so much! Check it out here ! It's actually a continuation of his song/video "I don't want this night to end." Love that too!

Hope you all have had a fab Monday! I plan on retiring early tonight because this girl is tired and I have a long, long week!

I DID IT!!!

So you all know how I am obsessed with anchors, right? If not, here ya go. There is a really good story behind it. My dad passed away when I was a baby, almost 2 years old to be exact. I never knew him so it's not a terribly touchy subject but still sucks nonetheless. I have always loved anchors and my dad was actually in the navy, so I kinda use them as a way to relate to him. He had a tattoo on his forearm of any anchor. Apparently at that time, all the seamen did. (sorry Lori :))

When I saw it in a picture, I immediately knew that was going to be my next one. I had known that he had one, but seeing it in a picture made me real I guess!

So when I got a tattoo in memory of my mom, it seemed only fitting that one day I would do the same for my dad. I have been salivating over anchor tattoos for some time now and I have been itching lately to get it done, but haven't had the time or the money etc etc.

So tonight after work I finally did it! It only took 20 mins compared to my other one that took almost an hour.

What do ya think?
Sorry it looks a tad gross, but you try getting a needle jabbed into your foot for 20 minutes and see how well your foot looks after!

I just love it so much. I will think of my dad every time I look at it or people ask the meaning just like I do when I see my other one!

It's funny how tattoos came strike up a convo and make you remember things, people and feelings! I never was a huge fan of them, but the meaning behind mine makes me love them!

Also, don't forget to grab my button!

Have a great Sunday peoples. I am finally seeing The Hunger Game. Praise the lord!
